Aghora means One with no darkness, another meaning is being frank.
Only in truth will one be enlightened.
He is one of the 5 faces of Shiva, One that signifies all knowledge, pure intellect.
They who follow this path embody Shiva walking on this planet, living amongst His Ganas.
They try to wake people up to Reality, making them realize their Godliness.
If you’re too attached to Maya, then the very sight of an Aghori will make you tremble in fear.
Maya brings about coverings on Para (Ultimate Reality), reduces Universal authorship and efficacy, Omniscience, Complete and all Satisfaction, Eternity, Omnipotence, All pervasiveness.
Bringing desires, limitations, time, distance, fear, greed, delusion, anger, envy, shame and disgust.
Aghori is simple and straightforward. Although it may seem extreme and radical. They directly work on removing their covers, root patterns, if there’s something hateful, he eats what he hates making it a part of him thus loving it, if there’s violence in him, he will learn to love that violence in order to let go of it. If he loves something that is binding him, he’ll immediately throw it away. They go to the depths of love and hatred alike to let go of it, to the depths of pain and suffering and come out of it, to the depths of shame and disgust to grow beyond it. They have transcended taboos of death, Exposing themselves to unholiness they become Holy, Change is a beautiful process.
They are indiscriminate, with no contradictions, seeing everything from God’s eye. They see that Maya is nothing but the play of 5 elements. Treating Tamas and Sattva alike as the Source is One.
They let go of everything they like, exposing their 5 senses to what they hate, thus go beyond Maya and are Liberated. They find Self-revelation, absolute manifesting Will and pure Bliss.
Sat-Chit-Ananda
When you were a kid, you didn’t differentiate how you treated things, people, you treated everything alike, with awe. Gradually as you grew up, you were taught of divisions, classes, castes, Pseudo Good & Bad, started differentiating.
Moksha or Liberation is only possible when you go back to that pure awareness, treating everything alike, all-inclusive, You & Me, This & That.
All opposites are mere illusion.
God is within You and nothing you do can defile you.
Nothing can separate you from God.
I have killed the ego, derailed human perception of beauty, purity.
If you yourself declare “I am Mad”, You are free of social images, structures.
They happen, spread colors, then fly away.
What you do in the outer world doesn’t define Who you are really, All that matters is what you think inside, your inner space, Your inner Purity.
Some worship God in Formlessness,
Some worship God in Idols,
Some worship God in Mind,
Some worship God in Heart,
I worship God in this Body.
